A group of American activists advocating for better relations between two countries will visit Russia at the end of April. The tour is organised by the Global Network against Weapons and Nuclear Power in Space.

“We are going to oppose the constant Western demonization of Russia. Our study tour in Russia is designed to help build peace between the people of our countries. We would like to see and learn what Russia really is from our own experience ,” said Bruce Gagnon, coordinator of the Global Network against Weapons and Nuclear Power in Space

The group consists of 19 activists from the United States and a number of members from the UK, Nepal and Sweden. They will travel to Moscow, St. Petersburg and the Crimea, where they plan to visit historical sites and meet with politicians, activists and journalists.
