Felix Sater, Russian-born businessman who was expected to testify behind closed before the Senate Intelligence Committee about the Trump Tower Moscow project, did not show up for unspecified “health reasons,” reported Law&Crime.
Sater’s lawyer Robert Wolf said that “due to health reasons Mr. Sater was unable to appear today. He looks forward to voluntarily appearing at the next rescheduled date.”
Democrats were outraged and promised to subpoena Sater as they want him to testify as soon as possible.
Felix Sater a no-show for this morning's voluntary @HouseIntel staff-level interview.
"As a result, the Committee is issuing a subpoena to compel his testimony.”

This is the second time Sater’s appearance before the panel is rescheduled as he was first set to testify in March. The date when Mr. Sater would be able to testify is yet unknown.
