Hillary Clinton, 2016 Democratic nominee, claimed that there are two main findings in Special Counsel Robert Mueller’s report.
The report found no collusion between Trump campaign and Russia, concluded that Russia interfered in the 2016 US presidential election in a “sweeping and systematic fashion,” but did not come to a conclusion on whether the US President Donald Trump obstructed justice.
According to Clinton, the main findings are that Russia interfered the election and that obstruction of justice by President Trump did occur.
“You cannot read the report, chapter and verse, fact after fact, without reaching those conclusions,” said Clinton speaking at Wellesley College Saturday.
“People just want to quit hearing about it and get back to their normal lives. There is nothing normal about undermining the rule of law. There is nothing normal about attacking the press. There is nothing normal about trying to undermine another branch of government,” she said.
