US Democratic Representative Ilhan Omar posted pictures with the House Speaker Nancy Pelosi on her Twitter and Instagram Thursday to troll the US President Donald Trump and his supporters for chanting “send her back” at one of Trump’s rallies, reported the TIME.
“They said ‘send her back’ but Speaker didn’t just make arrangement to send me back, she went back with me,” freshman congresswoman wrote on her social media.

To travel to Ghana with Members of the Congressional Black Caucus led by the Speaker, the most powerful woman in America, says a great deal about the historical ties between our countries and reaffirms our commitment to Ghana and to the continent of Africa.

Last month President Trump attacked four congresswomen, including Omar, Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, Ayanna Pressley and Rashida Tlaib, all of whom are women of colour mostly born in the US, and told them they could “go back” to their countries of origin if they didn’t like it in the US. President’s comments were officially condemned by the House of Representatives.
