According to the documents by the U.S. Department of Justice (DOJ) Justice Ministry, the investigation by Special Prosecutor Robert Muller on the “Russian interference” cost about $32 million.

In December last year, the work of the team Muller was reported to cost $25 million for a year and a half. As to the new documents, this is about two lines of expenses that were sent to the investigation taken two years. About 16 million were incurred directly to Muller, the other half to his office.

For the past six months, $4.1 million has been spent on maintaining the office and staff, which were incurred directly to Muller. Within direct and indirect costs for the last 6 months of the Muller team’s work amounted to $6.5 million.

Former Special Prosecutor Robert Muller has been investigating allegations of “Russian interference” into elections for almost two years, which Moscow has denied. According to the results of the investigation, Muller confirmed the allegations of interference. At the same time, he did not find evidence of a “conspiracy” between Donald Trump and Russia, whose existence was denied both in the Kremlin and in the White House.
