The Department of Justice announced on Monday that the redacted version of The Special Counsel’s Report on the Trump-Russia investigation is to be released on Thursday morning. However, the President of the U.S., Donald Trump, does not seem to be waiting for the findings of the probe to become available to the public. On Monday he released a series of tweets connected to the previously disclosed Attorney General William Barr’s letter to the chairmen of the House and Senate Judiciary committees.
“Mueller, and the A.G. based on Mueller findings (and great intelligence), have already ruled No Collusion, No Obstruction,” he tweeted. “These were crimes committed by Crooked Hillary, the DNC, Dirty Cops and others! INVESTIGATE THE INVESTIGATORS!”
As it is said in the Barr’s summary, Muller did not find any evidence that Trump “conspired or coordinated” with the Russian Government and did not reach the conclusion on whether or not there was an obstruction of justice. Democrats, though, demand to release Muller’s full report as they are deeply concerned that Barr will try to protect the president and censor the report. The chairman of the House Judiciary Committee, New York Rep. Jerrold Naddler, says he is ready to subpoena the report “very quickly” if it is released with blacked-out sections.
