Senator Bernie Sanders promises to set a minimum salary of $15 an hour if he is elected as president in 2020.

Nevertheless, labour workers want Sanders to begin his plan now paying them a higher salary.

According to a report, member of Sanders’s staff used their own preelection rhetorics of Senator opposing to him as they put all the efforts to struggle with a higher payment from a self-described democratic socialist.

In the letter to a manager of Sanders’s campaign Faiz Shakir, staff workers claim that they “cannot be expected to build the largest grassroots organizing program in American history while making poverty wages.

“Given our campaign’s commitment to fighting for a living wage of at least $15.00 an hour,” the letter continues, “we believe it is only fair that the campaign would carry through this commitment to its own field team,” they wrote.

Shakir also relies on the joint aim of their movement to win Donald Trump, pointing out that “Bernie Sanders is the most pro-worker and pro-labor candidate running for president.

Regarding Sanders himself, he was unconscious of labours’ complaints.
