Grisham was offered the job on Tuesday morning, she accepted and will replace current Press Secretary Sarah Sanders, who is leaving the White House at the end of the month.
Sanders commented on the news by posting on her Twitter. “I’m sad to leave the WH, but happy that our team is in such good hands,” she wrote.
.@StephGrisham45 will be an incredible asset to the President and the country. I’m sad to leave the WH, but so happy our team will be in such great hands. Stephanie will do a phenomenal job. Proud to have another mom and a great friend in this role! https://t.co/OYvwL0E1JU

Grisham is known for her loyalty.
“It will be Sarah Huckabee Sanders on steroids. She will be an aggressive defender of everything Trump.” Tom Ryan, lawyer.
“She’s a great advocate for the person she’s working for. She’s very friendly, easy to be around, and she’s very effective. She has good relationships with reporters. And she is very committed to her work. I think people in Washington notice that in her defenses of the president’s wife. She hit back hard when they’ve made unfair criticisms.” Tom Horne, politician
