The Austrian Supreme Court has approved extradition of Ukrainian businessman Dmitriy Firtash in the USA. The final decision about extradition must be accepted by the Minister of Justice of Austria.

The US put a blame on Firtash in bribing public officials on purpose to pay off Indian politics $18,5 million in order to get the license of development of a titanium reserve.

Firtash was arrested on March 12, 2014 in Vienna. After the record bail of €125 millions he was released on his own recognizance.

Apart from the USA, Spain accuse him of Money Laundering and creation of criminal organisation. In 2017 a court of Vienna considered that Spain had no ground to apply for extradition of Firtash.
