The deputy of the Michigan Republican Party is accused of attempt to sell vote and deception of FBI

None

The member of the House of Representatives R-Traverse City is accused of extortion attempt, extortion of a bribe and a misstatement in FBI. So, some days before vote in June, 2018 about cancellation of the law of the state demanding trade-union rates of the salary on the majority of public projects he sent the text message to regional council of joiners and millers of Michigan. This labor union participated in his electoral company earlier. In the text of the message it was said:

“We will get a ton of pressure on this vote. Its not worth losing assignments and staff for $5,000. . . . My suggestion is you need to get people maxed out. I am not sure you can hold 12 [legislators considering blocking the repeal] for the only help of $5,000. . . . People will not go down for $5,000, not that we dont appreciate it.”

City categorically denies sending such message. Though from where then FBI has its text? City will appear before federal court in Grand Rapids on May 23.
