Trump confirmed meeting with Putin at G20 Summit


US President Donald Trump has confirmed his meeting with the Russian President Vladimir Putin at the G20 Summit in Osaka, Japan, Russian News agency TASS reported Thursday. President Trump will also meet with the Chinese leader XI Jinping.

“I want to get along with Russia, and I think we will. I want to get along with China, and I think we will. I’m meeting actually both of them next week in Japan at the G20,” said Trump in an interview with Fox News Wednesday. He also talked about Special Counsel Robert Mueller’s report and how it negatively affected US-Russian relations.

The G20 Summit is to be held on 28-29 June in Osaka. The schedule of bilateral talks between the Russian president and his counterparts is reportedly being arranged. The date of possible Trump –Putin meeting is yet unknown.
