Trump outraged by Comey’s leak and requires “stolen time back”

The US President is outraged by a leak from former FBI Director James Comey to media and calls his supporters for taking their “stolen time back”.

Trump’s statement followed the breaches of bureau policies by Justice Department Inspector General Michael Horowitz and James Comey who spread a memo of Trump’s conversation.

“The disastrous IG Report on James Comey shows, in the strongest of terms, how unfairly I, and tens of millions of great people who support me, were treated. Our rights and liberties were illegally stripped away by this dishonest fool. We should be given our stolen time back?” Trump tweeted.

Trump did not refine how they could return their time and a White House spokesperson did not take a phone call for commentaries.

However, Trump has openly considered his possibilities to prolong his presidency terms avoiding the election. He reposted his supporter’s idea on Twitter about additional two years because of former special counsel Robert Mueller’s Russia investigation.

Besides, Trump was also dissatisfied by Justice Department’s decision not to bring Comey to justice.

“The fact that James Comey was not prosecuted for the absolutely horrible things he did just shows how fair and reasonable Attorney General Bill Barr is,” Trump continued. “So many people and experts that I have watched and read would have taken an entirely different course. Comey got Lucky!”

Horowitz noted on the report on Thursday that Comey violated the FBI protocol writing a memo about the meeting with Trump to his friend and asking him for reporting to journalists.

“Comey set a dangerous example for the over 35,000 current FBI employees – and the many thousands more former FBI employees – who similarly have access to or knowledge of non-public information,” Horowitz wrote.

However, Horowitz also confirmed and Comey has not told about any confidential information and, therefore, he cannot be prosecuted.

Comey’s memo states that Trump requested finishing the FBI investigation on the president’s then-national security adviser Michael Flynn who lied federal agents about his ties with Russia’s ambassador to the U.S.
