Trump, Putin may discuss Russian Interference

US President Donald Trump stated that at the meeting with the Russian leader Vladimir Putin they could discuss “Russian meddling in the 2020 US presidential election.”

In an interview with “Meet the Press” of NBC when asked whether he was going to address to the Russian President directly about interference in 2020, President Trump said, “I may, if you’d like me to do that.”

Chuck Todd, the host of the show, then asked Trump about his recent comments on accepting damaging information about his political rivals from the foreign governments, and noted that many had taken Trump’s comment as an “invitation” to Putin to interfere in the 2020 election. President Trump blamed it on the “fake news” and said that media “put a different segment,” which misled public.

Earlier this week President Trump has launched his re-election campaign.

Also American leader once again confirmed his meeting with President Putin on the sidelines of the G20 Summit in Osaka, Japan, the upcoming week.
