Trump’s adviser on an undeclared visit in Moscow the day before release of Mueller’s report

Fiona Hill, adviser of the US president Donald Trump, and a delegation from the White House came to Moscow on an undeclared visit. During their visit they held meetings with the Russian Security Council and Foreign Ministry officials. Hill’s visit is not publicly announced by either American or Russian authorities, which makes it possible that her visit may be connected to the release of Mueller’s report this Thursday.

Hill has written many books about Russia and is considered to be an expert of Russian and Soviet history and Russian language. She has also studied at the Moscow Institute of foreign languages named after Maurice Thorez and in 2013 released a biography of the Russian president, warning Putin’s opponents against underestimating his strategic abilities.

According to some informants, the visit of Fiona Hill is not related to the release of Mueller’s report or possible new US sanctions.
