“Victims” of Mueller Investigation: Roger Stone

Muller’s investigation

Roger Stone, former Trump’s consultant, was arrested in January, 2019. Being a widely known person, he was supposed to be asked to turn himself in, however, Mueller’s team organized a raid, as if Stone was a dangerous offender. CNN filmed the arrest of Stone, who opened the door wearing his pajamas. Mueller charged Stone with lying to Congress, obstructing justice and witness tampering. Stone was later released on a $250,000 bond and now waiting for a trial, which is scheduled to start in November.

Stone said that Mueller’s methods were too aggressive. “For months, Mueller’s Russian investigation has tried to implicate me by saying I had direct knowledge of plans by WikiLeaks to release information damaging to Clinton’s campaign,” he said. “There is no evidence whatsoever to support this claim, even after at least 12 of my current and former associates have been browbeaten by the FBI and at least six of them were dragged before Mueller’s grand jury.”

Former FBI agent Michael Biasello commented on Stone’s charges saying that Mueller was certainly trying to intimidate Stone. Other former agents stated that Mueller’s tactics and the raid he orchestrated were too much.
